In December 2007, the Tewksbury Library assumed custodianship of the Oldwick Community Center (OCC), the beautiful historic building which is our home. This merger has allowed the Library's Board of Trustees to make long-overdue improvements on our building. Over the past three years, we have completed many major projects which have brought our beautiful historic building back to life. Most importantly, the second floor is completely modernized and open for Patrons. Our second floor is now home to the Marion Katnack Children's Room and a Community Meeting Room.
Improvements to our building were made possible due to fundraising by the Board and the Friends of the Library, as well as the generosity of many of Tewksbury Township's citizens. The Library's funding from the Township each year barely keeps our library operating, so additional fundraising is necessary to make needed capital improvements. Patron donations are always welcomed.
